Our client is looking for qualified candidates for application development for Chinese AVR customers.
The candidates must have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and relish the challenge of a dynamic workplace. You will be part of a highly qualified and growing team of Electrical Engineers, developing microcontroller firmware for Chinese AVR customers.
You will be responsible for assisting our valuable customers in a critical faze of their design. The position therefore requires the use of highly technically skilled engineers with a high dedication to being responsive and solution-oriented. You will have the opportunity to work with tier-one customers in all industries and segments.

Key responsibilities/duties:
1. Manage, set goals and follow up teams of application engineers
2. Communicate customer status, plans and progress with Company’s MCU Business Unit Director
3. Technically coordinate and mentor senior application engineers. You will be responsible, indirectly through the application engineers for:
a. Customer application support, development of and understanding of customer applications in embedded programming languages (C- and ASSEMBLY, primarily)
b. Understand customer applications and play a key role in feeding back market needs to the marketing organization.
c. Development of application notes and design notes for customer-specific or application-specific projects.
d. Provide the technical interface to customers and sales force during prospecting, evaluation, design-in and post-sales phases.
e. Assist Product Engineering in the analysis of field returns (FA and RMA).

3. Prior experience with embedded firmware development and hardware design / development and debugging
4. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, English as well as chinese
5. Preferred industry experience in semiconductors industry with embedded applications or microcontrollers.
Language skills:
English fluent - conversation, reading and writing.
Relevant Experience:
5+ years experience in application development and/or customer support in semiconductor environment. Experience with resource and project management required.
Experience with customer interaction is a benefit.
Qualifications
· Bachelor- / Masters-degree in Electrical Engineering, Cybernetic, Informatics is a requirement. Business Administration background is a benefit.
