Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for new product design and development, product modifications, prototyping, cost reductions, and product approvals.
- Able to initiate, execute and close a project as leader and coordinate activities of development related to his/her project.
- Ensure all electrical schematics are correct, test plans are detailed, and BOMs are accurate.
- Help plan and participate in continuous improvement projects with an emphasis on engineering methods, knowledge, and APQP systems.
- Participate in 8D quality resolutions and in functional teams as part of APQP processes.
- Work closely with mechanical and manufacturing engineering teammates internationally.
- Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time.
- Provide technical support to product development team and vendors.
- Provide support for product transitions to and from China.

Position Requirements:
- BSEE degree or higher.
- Greater then 5 years of electrical design experience within a product design center.
- Familiar with thick film substrate design and manufacturer.
- Familiar with micro controller or Asics architecture.
- Project Managements skills.
- Hands on prototype build.
- Knowledge in rectifier, regulator, and ignition modules is definitely an advantage.
- Working knowledge and analysis experience of OEM/ODM electronic products is a plus.
- Familiar with product development procedures and processes.
- Should be able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Good command of both oral and written English.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD required.
