Position: Product Development Manager - 1232
Directly Report to: Global Product Development Manager
Job Location: Suzhou

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for design and development of electronic related products;
• Manage the timely and economic design and development of electronic related products which are viable and profitable business products;
• Develop and organize the product design and development competencies;
• Direct and lead the product development team for Suzhou location; 
• Set the goals, appraises their performance; 
• Hire, train and develop staff; approve and review their budget;
• Collaborate with other teams, operations to provide excellent and timely solutions to product requirements for customers; 
• Seek out new opportunities for new products and technologies;
• Manage budget and operations in accordance with company Code of Business Ethics;
• Make managerial authority for product design and development of the products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• M.S. or PhD in Engineering, Physics or Material Science;
• At least five (5) years hands on experience in design and development of electronics and electrical products;
• At least three (3) years experience managing a product design and development team with a good track record of success and business contribution;
• Good spoken and written English;
• Good business acumen;
• Excellent teambuilding and coaching ability;
• Good physical health;
• Open to foreign travel as the need arises;
• Internal Training Required: such as New Associate Orientation Program, Product Management, Six Sigma, Minitab, etc.
