职位描述/要求:

Context:

Work in a newly established R&D center with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally, in an organization providing digital set-top box, digital mobile TV, and broadband networking products.

Role Responsibility:

You will work in a team that is in charge of the hardware development of digital TV products (Set Top Box). Your job will be to take part in the product design as a (senior) RF Engineer and at the same further expand the RF capabilities of the Beijing site by coaching and hiring new (RF) engineers.

Job description :

Front End:

Specification and technical evaluation of cost-effective elementary bricks (Tuner, Modulator, Demodulator,...). You will become an expert in this technology, and cooperate with other R&D centers (international environment).

Participation in the integration of these bricks (characterization and validation) into the products. (Cable-, Satelite- and terrestrial- STB's)

System knowledge : Set Top Box architecture is moving to “a single chip solution”. In order to optimize platform architecture, knowledge of this complex device is necessary (data paths, interfaces, …).

• Test of elementary bricks or global platform: Definition of test and development of associated tools: hardware and software

Realization of Hardware tests according to current procedure during R&D stage.

Support the hardware engineers (Hardware project leader) in realizing the products.

Report to Hardware Manager and HW project leader.

Customer support for Front End related issues reported from the field.

RF lead:

  • Assist in further growing the Beijing RF capabilities (hiring, equipment purchase, test-automation).
  • Coaching of (new) RF engineers.
  • Maintain good relations with other Our Company RF departments (US, France), assure technical line-ups.
  • Create and fine-tune processes and procedures (test, design checklists)
  • Provide schedule and resource estimations to project managers and Hardware manager.

Required profile :

General
-Good communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and orally

- Willing to travel for short periods abroad.

Specific
-Master's degree (or similar by experience) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

-4+ years experience in hardware design of customer premises equipment. (Example: PC-mother board, STB, Television, Cable Modem, Mobile Phone, ...) of which at least 2 years in the RF domain.

- Expert experience in high-speed PCB design and RF circuitry is a requirement. (familiarity with RF equipment like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meter,... is a basic requirement)

- Design experience (Digital and RF) on STB's (DVB-C/S/T) or Tuner modules is a strong plus.

- Experience and good understanding of DVB systems is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with MPEG standard and experience with MPEG decoder design is a requirement

- Experience in developing low level software for hardware testing is a strong plus.

- Project management experience is a strong plus.

- Quality management experience is a plus.

- Previous Leader / (people) Management experience is a plus.

- Experience with regulatory aspects (EMC, EMI, ESD, surges,…) is a strong plus.

- Experience with networking products (Ethernet, USB, WLAN,...) is a plus.

基本职责描述 :

RF Front End

• 对基本的硬件功能模块 (Tuner, Modulator, Demodulator,...) 进行分析和评估, 制定技术规格,并与公司位于不同国家的研发中心合作;

• 参与在产品设计中集成不同的硬件功能模块;

• 系统方面的知识:由于机顶盒架构正在转移到单芯片方案,为优化平台架构,要求具备复杂系统方面的知识(如数据通路,接口等);

• 测试基本的功能模块或全球的项目平台,开发相关的硬件和软件工具以及制定相应的测试项目内容;

• 根据现有流程进行硬件测试;

• 支持硬件工程师(硬件项目负责人)开发产品;

• 向平台开发组经理和项目负责人汇报;

• 对射频前端相关问题进行现场技术支持;

RF lead

• 帮助北京研发中心继续提高射频方面的能力(招聘 , 采购仪器,自动测试 ).

• 指导射频工程师

• 与 OUR COMPANY 其他(法国, 美国等)研发中心射频部门进行技术沟通与合作

• 制定以及改进开发与测试的流程

• 向项目经理和平台开发组经理提供项目进度和人员分配

任职资格与具体要求 :

基本技能
良好的 英文及普通话 交流和表达能力。
可以到国外短期出差

具体专业背景

硕士研究生学历(或具有类似工作经验的本科生),电子类及相关;

4 年以上的消费电子产品硬件开发和设计方面的工作经验,例如: PC 主板,机顶盒,电视,有线同轴 MODEM, 以太网路由器 , 手机等等, 2 年以上 射频工作经验;

具有高速 PCB 板和射频电路设计经验者优先 (熟悉网络分析仪, 频谱分析仪,功率计等基本的射频仪器);

具有机顶盒(数字及射频)设计经验或者 Tuner 设计经验优先;

具有 DVB 系统设计方面的经验和良好知识背景的优先;

熟悉 MPEG 标准及 MPEG 解码器设计的应聘者优先;

具有开发硬件测试底层软件经验者优先;

具有项目管理经验者优先;

有质量管理方面的工作经验 者佳 ;

电子产品上市认证( EMC , EMI, ESD, 浪涌)设计方面的经验;

具有网络产品 (Ethernet, USB, WLAN 等等 ) 开发方面经验者优先;
