Description:
Leads projects and/or cross-functional teams through new/enhanced product developments. Establishes, manages and leads new manufacturing system development between Local and International Design and Local/International Manufacturers.
Responsibility:
1. Involve in new product development project core team as industrialization project leader.
2. Act as the primary liaison between project core team and manufacturers.
3. Setup and responsible for project industrialization goals and objectives.
4. Responsible for all industrialization deliverables.
5. Accountable for all manufacturing requirements on projects including: manufacturing cost, DFM/T, manufacturing system, product quality, material supply and logistics.
6. Define target-manufacturing process according to project industrialization goals.
7. Lead industrialization project to define and develop whole electronics product manufacturing process and supply chain, from PCBA to final product shipment.
8. Final qualify the production system with quality team and manufacturers, and hand over responsibility to manufacturing team.
9. Manage, communicate and resolve project issues including manufacturing process build up, purchasing, logistics, supply chain and distribution.
10. Identify issues; institute and track corrective action plans.
11. Manage cost (CoGS) analysis and cost reduction recommendations on New Product Developments.
12. Manage quality issues and corrective actions.
13. Perform risk analysis and ensure appropriate measures are taken to mitigate potential risk.
14. Responsible for industrialization investment and HC budget.
15. Responsible for industrialization project schedule, monitor and report the progress/ issues/ risks/ problems.
16. Periodically report project status.
Requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree of Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field is required
- Fluent oral English, good English writing.
- At least 8 years experience and at least 5 years relevant professional experience in electronic industry
- Multi-national company experience is preferred.
- Automation or Power electric product knowledge and experience.
- Experience of new product development project but not NPI and transferring projects.
- Able to overall define whole electronics production system/ supply chain and finally qualify it.
- Strong electronics industrial technical background, at least one of PCBA process, test or electronics product assembly.
- Strong sense of judgment on business and technical.
- Product costing knowledge and experience.
- Strong project management skill.
- Strong individual capability.
