Minimum Requirements:
o Graduate studies with emphasis in mixed-signal analog, RF, dc/dc power conversion, and/or battery management integrated circuit design.
o Familiar with physical layout, verification and the use of various design CAD tools such as Spectre, SPICE, or Electromagnetic simulation tools etc.
o Use of Lab equipment such as a communication channel emulator, vector signal analyzer, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, power supplies etc.
Description:
Responsible for design, development and evaluation of analog mixed-signal / RF circuitry in power management, data communication (such as wireless or xDSL), data storage systems for enterprise and consumer applications. Develop circuit topologies and perform circuit design. Design verification via computer simulations. Perform physical layout design and oversee all layout activities including backend checks such as LVS and DRC. Performing design reviews. Prepare block diagrams, schematics, simulation results and design analyses for documentation. Evaluate and characterize prototype units. Develop test specifications and coordinate with Test/Product Engineering. Participate in design reviews and technical discussions for other projects.
Your involvement will include one or more of the following areas:
High performance, low power ADC, DAC, Serdes, PLL, CDR in advanced CMOS technologies, as well as highly efficient power converter and battery management solutions. High performance RF transceivers (Locations: Santa Clara, California and Austin, Texas) and xDSL transceivers.
