Title:Facilities Engineer
Reports to Account Manager
Position Purpose :
Under General direction, manage the account to secure business expansion, excellence in customer satisfaction, resource delivery and business delivery.
Key Business Responsibilities :
- Manages a team technician in the building facilities to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for smooth operation, contingency plan, capital budgeting of all building equipment and facilities.
- Develop training road map and provide technical training to the staff.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the customer to ensure coordination and integrity of services provided.
- Observes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory codes and environmental guidelines, and establish critical systems testing and emergency procedures.
- Conduct contractor qualification, evaluation and management.
- Carry out preventive maintenance program for plant equipment and facilities.
- Resolve maintenance problems and support equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
- Perform all electrical and instrument activities within safety, quality and environmental guidelines while striving to optimize highest efficiency.
- Hand on testing of electrical system like cable insulation testing, phase to phase testing, earth impedance testing.
- Able to perform basic calculation like voltage drop, circuit breaker sizing and discrimination setting.
- Provide support to inspect, test and calibrate all electrical and instrumentation equipment for plant modification and new projects as required
People Management Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of technician.
General Qualification Requirements:
- Possess a Degree or equivalent in either of the following discipline. Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or building management related.
- Minimum of 8 years working experience in facilities maintenance.
- Must have 1-2 years of facilities system design and consultancy experience.
- Positive with good working attitude, excellent interpersonal skill, client management and able to work independently.
- Superior oral and written communication skills required for both Chinese and English.
- Possess strong leadership skills and must have experience in supervisory role of at least 15 people in various disciplines.
- Software competency: Microsoft Office and Autocad is a must.
- Other relevant knowledge will be a plus.
