MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES (Wording assistance: “This position ensures…”):

• Introduce all quality relevant information in the OSC/CSC/Production Readiness meetings for a definition and/or a release of the supplier. Part of this job is to represent the goals and interests of VW Group and the QA Asia Pacific in the meetings. To use suitable tools for the development and implementation, as well as the training for suppliers regarding the necessary release processes.
• Represent the interests of QA in SMT (Sourcing Management Team), issuing quality ratings by analyzing quality data and vote for supplier selection together with QA departments of Joint Ventures and relevant departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS and CUSTOMERS:

Main Tasks (relating products, services …)

• Negotiate with suppliers and internal departments to make an emphasized analysis for the problematic parts. Processing and make the following up of improvement programs.
• Evaluation of qualification /Evaluation of assignments from VW Group, J.V. and Group plants and derivative of appropriate tasks of work.
• Represent the Q-interests in the specialized departments and specialized divisions of VW Group (video /Tel. Conference), Group plants and J.V.
• Monitoring and adjustment of the individual results of working in the specialized group (department) concerned.
• Introduction and/or production and maintenance of technical process -, procedure requirements for the assigned products/product groups.
• Present the working results against department manager, partners of VW Group, J.V. and the parts suppliers.
• Evaluation of the quality ability of suppliers in the Asian market.
• Planning and execution of Quality meetings with suppliers and related internal departments.
• Planning and Organization of Potential Analysis
• Sufficient decision-making preparation of assignment decisions under the aspect of the quality ability.
• Represent the QA-interests in SMT (Sourcing Management Team)
