Summary:
Technical support engineer with added responsibility of all MV project management in greater China , as well as coordination of all resources involved with Customer Service and Maintenance Department for MV post-sales service activities.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all MV post-sales service related financials including administration of CODE10 warranty authorization process from MV business unit as well as control over commission budget.
Coordinate Customer Service and Maintenance Department for MV field technical support and customer training. Develop good practices for maintenance/commissioning, trouble-shooting and technical telephone support.
Responsible for MV order entry, detailed discussion with MV factory on technical specifications, order status tracking and update, and technical clarifications/kick-off meeting with customer when required.
Manage and control any retrofit or product update programs initiated by MV business unit.
Provide technical support to sales team on MV applications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering. Higher level of education will be considered dependant on postgraduate experience. PMP will be preferred.
Job related competencies:
Prior field service experience is essential.
MV knowledge/work experience is preferred.
Approximately 3-5 years minimum experience in Engineering/Site support.
Strong oral and written communications are essential and strong English capabilities.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
