All FA Engineer job criteria plus:
- 5 years Functional Test Development Experience
- Solid SW design, Automation, and scripting in TCK/Expect, PERL, Shell, UNIX and C. Prefer to have Cisco Autotest experience.
- Must have experience in using Diagnostics SW, environmental testing, temp and voltage margining, etc
- Must understand basic networking protocols like TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, Spanning Tree, and VLAN, etc. Prefer to have hands on experience with traffic generators like IXIA & Spirent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Have the responsibility and task to design, write and rewrite testing scripts that are developed for the Fault Duplication RCFA process. These scripts will be run under the direction of the RCFA test Engineer by the RCFA Test Engineers.
2. Will be the senior technical support for all of the RCFA Test Line operations.
3. Will work closely with the Cisco Product Engineers in the design and implementation of the test runs. Will also work closely with the Case Owner team in creating test plan that they meet the RCFA Fault Duplication guidelines.
4. This position requires a high level of script writing skills along with Data Networking expertise. All of the scripted tests will be customized for RCFA testing.
5. Will also be responsible for the documentation of the testing results. This documentation will become part of the RCFA Case Report.
6. Will have final responsibility in the operations of the RCFA Test Line Team. This person will need technical team leader experience.
