Beijing Vivace Semiconductor Company was established by a returned overseas student Luo Jin and one of the leaders in the industry named Ni Weixin. The company got into merger with Vivace Semiconductor, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). The new company received efficient fund from some of the leading capital investors from America, Singapore and mainland China. Background on American technology and market, it expanded its EDA, designing service, and especially the leading team (CEO　Cary Ussery and CTO Mark Indovina) which owns excellent technical expertise in DSP. It also attracted leaders from the fabless IC design companies and capital operation team leading by America East Capital Co., and their direct participation in the company's registration in the Beijing IC Design Park in Zhongguancun with support from integrated and internationalized team.

By starting from the engineering projects of IP and SoC for deep sub-micron and nanometer IC, Vivace has built up a scalable team model and made joint efforts with the first-class international design team in developing the key circuit technology for integrated digital video and mobile TV signal processing. The company's goal is to be a emerging enterprise with high-technology in the local industry chain (from processing to be IC product) which is with independent IP and taking integrated digital A/V processing IC as the application direction. Through the international capital-operation, now we have operation centers in Beijing (China), Boston (Massachusetts), Rochester (New York) and the Silicon Valley.
