Position Summary
- The responsibilities for this position include sustaining Industrial Engineering Program for Operation and works on professional engineering assignments to implement, maintain and develop methods and processes in a specific competence area. This includes all Industrial Engineering related issues and activities including cross-functional and Supplier interaction necessary to support the production. At the same time this position required the ability to analysis and use CAD tools to create/design process/layout for production and logistical operation area. Additional responsibilities include ensuring process/projects achieve cost, schedule, budget, reliability, and regulatory/safety goals.
Responsibility
- Manages and implements engineering tasks/projects that may expand to more than one skill area.
- Proactively identifies and solve non-standard engineering problems.
- Solves standard problems independently to develop/improve the manufacturing process or methods within own area of expertise. May lead small engineering/production/logistical projects.
- Support Senior Industrial Engineer/project managers in company wide projects.
- Provide statistical analysis on production efficiency.
- Technical support to production and logistic department on Industrial Engineering aspect.
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Support on layout design and drawing.
- Design, analysis, documentation and validation of production and logistical process
- Interface with Process engineer, Production Supervisor, quality, equipment engineering, w/suppliers and other functional groups.
- Utilizing SMART (Nokia’s own) tools to develop innovated solutions for highly complex problems.
- Actively develops plans (including backup plans) to meet schedule, budget.
- Manage and carries out assigned tasks/activities/projects according to assignment and set guidelines.
Requirement
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing systems Engineering, Automation System Engineering.
- Min 1-2 year Engineering experience working in Telecommunication, Logistic, manufacturing, Aerospace or Electronics industries. Senior position will be considered if rich and sound experience in related area.
- Good Statistical knowledge with analytical & problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge on Operation research concept and theories.
- Excellent PC skills (Words, Project Management, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
- Knowledge of CAD software (Auto Cad).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess Good English language skill. (Both in spoken, listening & written)
- Knowledge of Time-Studies method.
- Ability to read/understand drawings.
- Resourceful, action-focused and result-oriented team player.
- Ability to work independently, with high level of motivation and business mindset.
- Possess excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work with people at all levels within a matrix organization structure
