Title: Wind & Site Assessment Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Collecting and analyzing of wind data from proposed and existing sites.
Ø Predicting potential wind energy production at sites using related tools.
Ø Advising on micrositing of WTGs at the identified sites.
Ø Modeling and designing wind farms in collaboration and coordination with other departments and, if necessary, outside consultants.
Ø Communicating, when necessary, on wind resource related topics with design institutes, outside consultants, investors and governments etc..
Ø Providing supports and advice to Sales Managers.
Requirements:
Ø Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering/ Physics/Meteorology or related.
Ø Experience with wind industry preferable.
Ø Electrical Engineer background is preferred
Ø Knowledge about micrositing would be a plus.
Ø Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Ø Willing to travel (domestic and abroad).
Ø Willing to work at sites.
Ø Good computer skills, experience with specific wind analysis software would be a plus.
Ø Good English both in writing and speaking.
Ø Quick learner.
