Requirements:
- BSEE degree plus 5 years experience in the Circulator / Isolator industry
- Familiarly with design architecture platforms used in circulators
- Understanding of circulator material options and their cost and performance implications.
- Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or other CAD tools
- Thorough working knowledge of spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal analyzers, power meters, and passive components is required.
- Candidate must be self directed, motivated, and able to work in small team environments with all types of personalities.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Reliability and Quality testing methods.
- Knowledge of workmanship standards used in the Electronics industry
Responsibilities:
1. Work with Marketing to review customer specifications for new and derivative circulator/isolator products.
2. Understand circulator/isolator integration issues with customers’ systems. Resolve system level interaction issues.
3. Design new and derivative circulator and isolator products:
a. Perform CAD design layouts
b. Produce part fabrication drawings
c. Assemble prototypes, set field, test and tune (S-parameter and IMD measurements)
d. Define manufacturing test limits
e. Release documentation packages
f. Design custom tooling and fixtures as required
4. Manage NPI process in factory:
a. Analyze material requirements for pilot builds
b. Review documentation packages
c. Resolve NPI issues and ensure successful NPI outcomes.
5. Set up, evaluate, and troubleshoot RF test benches used in both Engineering and Manufacturing.
6. Ensure accurate and repeatable RF measurements considering test set architecture, system calibration, sources of error, test fixturing.
7. Build and characterize test fixtures for de-embedding purposes.
8. Review engineering and production test data to identify design variation and yield issues.
9. Work closely with Material Sourcing Team to procure quality, cost-effective, reliable materials.
10. Participate in weekly conference calls with US Design Team.
