Key responsibilities:
Provide technical support for one or more product(s) and/or product families
Resolve customers technical issues
Participate in customer visits
Generate and demonstrate presentations for customers and trade shows
Develop and present technical product material
Write and maintain data sheets and application notes
Training of internal and external customers
Assist Sales and PLMs with customer design wins
Key skills required:
Protocol knowledge of IEEE802.3, Ethernet. Knowledge of synchronous Ethernet a plus
Familiarity with L2/L3 switching. Familiarity with tunneling and policing standards a plus
Familiarity with standard interfaces, SPI-3, SGMII, etc
Familiarity with DDR2 SDRAM a plus
Familiarity with basic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, traffic generators, signal generators and logic analyzers
Strong communications and presentation ability. Good english skills a plus
Demonstrated ability in establishing strong customer and partner relationships
Understad complex system schematics, point out circuit/interconnection errors and suggest alternative connections/solutions
Strong planning and organizational skills
Highly motivated, brings high energy level to job
