Job Scope:
Working under technical sales coordinator, the technical sales engineer mainly is responsible for support technical marketing efforts in China, both onshore and offshore, to assist identification of new business development and opportunities, technical support on all WFT product lines from project initiation, planning, execution through to project close out. Assist updating Technical Sales Database for all Weatherford services and Products, inclusive of Sales brochures, PowerPoint presentations, Real Results, etc..
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Analyse client data collected and organizing technical discussion, assists in preparation of technical and commercial proposals to the client. Assist translating technical materials for selected areas and organize seminars.
2. Prepare, follow up and execute quotation / tenders and contracts
3. Collect, maintain and update information on market trends, requirement and competitive products and services to facilitate development of sales strategies and plans.
4. Maintain WFT China‘s technical sales library.
5. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
1. Drilling and intervention experiences.
2. Petroleum engineering
3. Good written and spoken English
4. At least 2 years rig experience, plus1 year experience in Sales
5. Works well under pressure
6. Apt to new technology, have marketing sense
7. Pleasant disposition with good communication / negotiation skills.
