职位描述/要求:
Title of position: Commissioning Supervisor,Shanghai
 
Department: APM Technical Services
 
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position: 
  • The commissioning supervisor will assist and provide recommendations regarding design of the crane to APMT Technical Services Headquarters in Shanghai, but will not make or initiate any changes to the design of the crane. 
  • He will closely co-operate with the APMT Inspectors. 
  • He will verbally report any punch list items coming up during the commissioning to the APMT QA inspector for integration into the punch list. 
  • He will keep his management and the responsible project manager informed about the progress of work and any unusual events. 
  • He should inform whenever it becomes apparent that the scheduled delivery is in jeopardy or the cranes will leave not fully tested respectively.
Specific responsibilities of the position: 
  • The commissioning engineer will supervise the commissioning work and testing to be performed by the crane manufacturer. 
  • At the terminal the commissioning engineer shall act as the interface between the terminal and Technical Services Shanghai, for both Project Management and Engineering. 
  • At the terminal he will also assume the responsibilities of the QA inspector, including the supervision of all work performed by ZPMC on site and potentially some site management, planning and organization, if the OEM proves to be unable to do so. 
  • HE shall assist the terminal in the assessment of the OEM’s work resolving the punch list items.
Measurement / success criteria of the position: 
  • The supervision shall lead to a fully tested crane in accordance with the commissioning report. 
  • Completed “Commissioning Report” within the acceptance criteria 
  • Timely and professional reporting to his management and the project manager. 
  • Reliable and professional preparation of the deliverables.

  • The individual can learn to live in a multi-tasking environment, combining technical qualification, managerial, planning and negotiation skills.

Specific requirements for the position: 
  • Very solid technical knowledge of electrical equipment for container cranes 
  • Technological understanding of container cranes and container handling 
  • Good command of English language 
  • Self-reliant personality 
  • Self confidence and strong personality 
  • Willingness to travel internationally
