Introduction for PCM Department:

As part of KONE global technology organization, Product Change Management (PCM) ensures that business lines can offer competitive products and services to our customers. PCM ensures KONE to create and maintain global products and processes. It also brings different disciplines (Marketing, Product Creation, supply, sourcing) together in product planning and decision-making. The objectives of PCM are to ensure that:

1. The quality and reliability of our product is good.

2. The cost level of KONE products is competitive.

3. KONE products cover the needs of our customers in different markets.

As one of KONE global functions, PCM in China provides great opportunities for developing your career by working with global PCM and R&D teams and other internal and external customers. KONE also provides various training courses for employees including technical related contents. To deal with rapid business growth, we are looking for qualified and committed talent to join us.

 

Purpose: Products improve and harmonize. According to requirements of other departments. Work as joint R&D and PCM to release new products into production. Quality improves; Cost saving and other requirements.

 

Requirements:

1. College degree in mechanical engineering.

2. At least 1 year experience in mechanical design.

3. Good at Microsoft Office; AutoCAD; Written and oral English.

4. Active mind; forward thinking and task driven, high degree of integrity.

 

Reports toPCM Manager-Shaft Components

Major Areas of responsibilities:

1. Cars & Doors mechanical components design and improvement and update. Base on standard component develop the new or local standard component to meet the actual needs and products developing.

2. Technical support to GSO; QC; Vendor; Car & Door Factory and other engineering departments. Base on existing Kane’s documents, engineering manuals & SAP working experience to support other department.

3. New products implementation.Assist/cooperate with R&D in new products piloting, releasing and corrections of piloting follow up.

4. Products change handle (CR handle).Based on knowledge of KONE and other elevators. Finalizing solutions to improve Quality or cost down.
