Responsibilities / Duties

 

-       Develop a procedure for the implementation of the development department strategy and the customer requests (PLM)

-       Coaching of the project managers and employees

-       Agreement on objectives and verification of the achievement of objectives

-       Improvement and maintenance of the technological basis

-       Employee guidance (project manager and project employee)

-       Definition and implementation of the technology

-       Other necessary tasks additionally assigned

Education

 

-       University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with main focus of Power Automation

 

Languages

 

-       English – advanced level in spoken and written

-       Chinese – advanced level in spoken and written

Experience

 

-       Several years of professional experience in the field of energy distribution, automation engineering, HW/SW development

-       Several years of people management experience and project management experience required

-       Working experience in international company is preferred

Skills / Knowledge

 

-       SW/HW development processes and Tools (e.g. CMMI, configuration management system Clear Case, ) .

-       You have excellent (project) management skills: you know how to manage a project team, coordinate activities and you are experienced in coaching people and you have a proficient knowledge of project management and controlling instruments

-       Provides operational control for the assigned team and Monitor/Control/Report project progress.

-       Coaches his team on professional matters – personnel, technology, processes, project planning/control

-       Ensures the further development of specialist knowledge in the assigned team

-       Continuous process improvement

-       SW Technology, development tools ((OOD, OOP, preferably also UML, Rational Tooling, ….)

-       Test technologies and test execution

-       Power Control Center (SCADA and Applications)

-       Power Automation

-       Protection Systems

-

-       Strong leadership skills: you know how to motivate your team, be clear and decisive

-       Excellent communication skills (understanding and assessing people, asking through) and advanced presentation skills in English
