MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing technical or application related assistance over the telephone to customers, salespeople, and service organization.
- Travels to customer sites to evaluate and rectify customer problems.
- Is responsible for maintaining the required technical knowledge of the other regional team members.
- May perform customer, sales, or service tech training both in-house and on-site.
- Is responsible for providing customer feedback to manufacturing and engineering, solving the customers problem, and notifying the field of the problem if applicable.
- Will review all technical publications prior to publication.
- Must have the ability to collect data, create and maintain CIP control charts.
- Will keep field service engineers abreast of changes to existing products, and releases of new products.
- Will make quarterly service calls with dedicated service engineer to key accounts.
- Will take an active part in training.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree in instruments, automation or engineering;
- At least 3 years experience as an Instruments or Electronic engineer or service engineer in Process Control Industry;
- Familiar with Rosemount product is a plus.
