Reporting to:Tactical Marketing Manager

Summary of position 

• To work closely with the Key Account Manager and R&D Engineering team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects that will influence positive design-in decisions
• To propose and create software and hardware solutions in support or Customer projects
• Keep updated with latest developments in technology 
• Ensure regular communication with the commercial, project management and marketing team 
• To act as front line support to customers and distributors in training and product implementation

Duties:
KEY TASKS 

• Participate in technical/commercial meetings with Customers from start of a Project to its completion 
• Provide expert Capacitive Charge Transfer know-how for Customer design projects as required
• Exploit opportunities to determine specifications and introduce new products 
• Ensure coherent & professional communication with customer peer groups 
• Disseminate technical Information & inputs from customers as appropriate 
• Create and maintain Customer networks and identify new/repeat business opportunities
• Based on customer feedback(requests, continuously review the product range offered arid recommend improvements or additionai products that may benefit QRG and Its customers
• Participate in internal team design reviews as appropriate (act as Customer’s representative) 
• Facilitate P0 layout, modification and prototype construction of Customer projects as required 
• Support existing products using Atmel evaluation tools and know-how 
• Develop & maintain thorough knowledge of Atmel products, their application and competitor positioning 
• Meeting Customers on and off site as required 
• Provide post-sales technical support for ‘mature’ design wins
• To ensure any field projects undertaken are properly documented, from the initial ‘definition & deliverables’ stage, through to completion, hand-over and closure

Position/Skill Requirements
Degree in Electronics, Physics or closely related field
Language qualification (main European or Mandarin)
Must have 3+ years relevant Industrial & commercial (technical sales) experience, or applications experience
Some experience in low power analogue & digital circuit design
Familiarity with software design techniques & methods involving C, Assembler, Delphi or Visual Basic MS Windows, Word, Excel, Databases, PowerPoint and e-mail,

Preferred Skills
Fluent In English, Mandarin, Cantonese
Electro-mechanical applications experience
Good Presentations skill
Know how In User Interface design is an advantage
Good communicator
Experience of participating in fast-paced projects
Proven ability to evaluate and act upon customer generated requests & Information
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to develop & propose ideas
Customer facing experience
Education Degree in Engineering I Science
