Job title: Field Application Engineer POC
Report to: (PPSD) FAE Manager
Location: Beijing/Shanghai
Purpose of the Job:
· To handle incoming requests for quotations, provide technical advice and support to sales managers/engineers, in order to win sales of products/solutions to achieve sales objectives, as well as to ensure the follow up of realized sales, according the division sales policies and strategy.
Main Accountabilities:
· Prepare a sales quotation based on request from sales
· Prepare a sales quotation based on request directly from customer
· Support the sales force developing (technical) solution in order to prepare a quotation for a customer
· Join a sales team during sales preparation and/or negotiating process
· Check final order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify/solve any discrepancies.
· Initiate preparation of technical documents (descriptions, drawings etc.) for the order to start production process.
· Handle customer requests/questions about signed contracts and check changes against the agreed quotation.
· Develop and maintain good internal working relationship with Sales Engineers/Managers, AE, Service, Business Managers, Product Managers, Purchase, Production, etc.
· Maintain good working relationship with regular customers; develop good working relationships with new customers.
· Maintain efficient and reliable quotes administration
Core Competencies:
· Formal education at Technical vocational diploma, or at BSc level or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
· Good knowledge of SPS products/applications/solutions
· Good understanding of assigned markets and customers
· Strong commercial sense
· Understanding of Commercial/Contract law
· Good communication skills, telephone techniques
· Computer literacy
· Team player
· Fluent in English
