Work Location: Nanjing
Major Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage DFMEA with Quality & Core Engineer;
· Develop and manage component/system DVP&R with Core Engineering;
· Develop plans to meet quality objectives and validate robustness and durability of the designs;
· Ensure all Ford requirements are understood by supplier;
· Ensure all Ford engineering and quality requirements are met through design and verification;
· Perform package and stack-up studies at both component and subsystem levels;
· Prepare drawings and CAD data as required with supplier mechanical engineers;
· Provide data for installation sketches;
· Perform system level computer-aided engineering (CAE) inspection as required;
· Interface with Ford design office for design and sign-off of first surface materials;
· Manage Engineering Specification (ES) testing, review results and prepare report;
· Oversee component/system level design verification and production validation;
· Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution as issues occur;
· Support all APQP activities including PSW and PPAP;
· Provide Assembly plant support during prototype/launch phases or as required.
Qualification Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required;
· Minimum of 2 years sensor design or test experience;
· Experience preferred with Automotive part design and verification process;
· Extensive experience in Quality/Reliability(e.g. ISO-9000 or TS-16949 or VDA) ;
· Knowledge of basic engineering tools (e.g. FMEA, Fishbone, etc);
· Project management experience preferred;
· Good communication skills in Chinese and English;
· Flexible working hours to accommodate meetings with global;
· Willing to travel inside China or oversea.
