You will be developed as an Application Engineer (AE) to serve our customers in the Asian region. As a part of the Sales organization, you will provide technical support to our customers by introducing the sophisticated Melexis technology and by working at their premises towards successful project completion.

 

Your induction period will start with a 12 months learning and development assignment in Europe and as such you will be offered the opportunity to get acquainted with the Melexis work values. At the end of your initial assignment, you will be prepared to successfully carry out the accountabilities of an AE. Those are:

 

Accountabilities:
• Establish a professional technical working relationship on strategic and high volume projects with customers
• Ensure that technical support is provided for Melexis products including the development of application notes, datasheets and reference designs for existing and new markets
• Work with customers to design in Melexis’ solutions
• Work closely together with the Product Marketing Managers to test Melexis’ solutions in an application environment
• Support the Product Marketing Manager in identifying market trends and needs
• Provide demo and application development support to the customers.

 

Requirements:
• Passionate graduate in the field of electronic engineering, with hands-on experience with analog and digital circuits.
• Openness to work in an international environment with an understanding of cultural differences that influence decision making processes
• Readiness to travel regularly
• Good communication and presentation skills in Mandarin and English. Mastering other major Asian languages is an asset.
