职位描述/要求：
Venue Engineering Within the Technical Operations and Engineering department, Venue Engineering is responsible for planning, designing, engineering, installing and operating the Host Broadcast technical facilities in all venues. Additionally, Venue Engineering coordinates and facilitates the Rights Holder’s technical requirements within venues. Job Objectives In accordance with the production requirements for the host broadcast operation the objective is to develop and implement technically satisfactory engineering plans for each of the specific competition venues, using reliable and state of the art television equipment. Also to provide the engineering resources that have been purchased by rights holders and ensure the expected performance of such services and facilities. Duties/Responsibilities • Assist the TOC Test and Install Technician in the preparation, installation and testing of the Technical Operation Center’s services and facilities for the Beijing 2008 Olympics • Conduct the installation, modification and Audio/Video wiring of the TOC racks according to the Unilateral requirements by Right Holder Broadcasters. • Assist the TOC Test and Install Technician in the transfer to-, and the installation and Testing of the TOC in the Venue. • Act as liaison between the TOC Test and Install Technician and local Venue management during the Venue installation and testing period. Knowledge/Skills • Adequate English and Chinese communication skills. • Knowledge and experience with Broadcast Video and Audio Systems. • Knowledge and experience with the general accepted installation and wiring techniques used in the field of Broadcasting. • The ability to work with teams from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. • Self motivation and initiatives are expected. Relevant Experience • A minimum of 3 years experience in Broadcast Audio/Video installations is required. Additional Requirements • A driver license C is a pre-requisite, B is preferred • Team spirit, strong motivation and full flexibility is required to achieve the goals as set in the job requirements.

BOB is a joint venture company established by Olympic Broadcast Services (Host Broadcaster of the IOC) and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) to serve as the Host Broadcaster of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. As Host Broadcaster, BOB is responsible for producing and distributing impartial radio and television coverage throughout the Games, as well as providing additional facilities and services to the world’s Rights Holding Broadcasters who will descend on Beijing in 2008.
