Job Description:

The candidate will be a team member in the development of RF and Optical products for high speed data and video transmission networks. Development responsibilities may include EMC design in board level; perform EMC qualification, in-situ EMC troubleshooting, Safety risk assessment, and regulatory compliance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong awareness of applicable safety regulations and best practices
• Internally communicate changes and provide recommendations for the development of it’s safety program to ensure continued compliance
• Work with external labs in support of FCC, UL, CE, Environment tests and certification, etc.
• Development of regulatory compliance test plans, guiding/directing the informal and formal compliance test
• Work with design engineers during schematic development and board layout to ensure best practices are followed

Required Experience:

• BS Electrical Engineering or computer science or related majors
• At least 3 years working experience in telecom products
• Familiar with EMC test facilities and other basic test instruments
• Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety
• Regulatory compliance experience for America, European and China market
• Good skills for EMI/EMC certification tests
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in both Chinese and English

Preferred Experience:

• MS Electrical Engineering
• Have certain mechanical, cabling, and electronic material knowledge
• Project management skills
• Can apply relevant EMC standards into design, such as EN 50083-2, IEC 61000-3-2, IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-4-2, EN 55022, EN 55024 and FCC part 14 and relevant China standards
