Responsibilities:
- Implementation of hardware and software developments in the areas of laboratory and analysis technologies.
- Implementation of product developments the areas of laboratory and analysis technologies.
- New development and construction of laboratory and analysis technology devices, with responsibility for implementation, and attending to, until serial production.
- Work with given development tools in the areas of hardware and software.
- Research work, for instance on materials or competing products.
- Responsibility for the assembly of functional samples and prototypes and their test evaluation.
- Implementation of developments with due regard of performance specifications and requirements of duties record book. Compilation of full documentations, keeping of project files. Conduction of calculations and simulations. Preparation of bills of materials, technical drawings. Preparation of technical documentations, for example instructions for use etc.
- Consideration of in-plant processes and standards (ISO9001, Milestones).
- Work in accordance with valid norms and guidelines, for example laboratory apparatuses norm, machines guideline, EMV guideline, pressure apparatuses guideline, low-voltage guideline etc.
- Conduction of hazard and error analyses.
- Implementation of changes, as well as product management.
- Close cooperation with, and support of, specialized departments such as manufacturing, applications engineering, service, buying.
Requirements
- University (Bachelor) Degree in electrical engineering or electronics
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the areas of laboratory or medical technology.
- A good knowledge of English, Chinese native speaker.
- A good knowledge of current development tools (emulators, debuggers).
- A good knowledge of programming languages, ideally C.
- Desirable is a good knowledge of application and process technologies in the laboratory area.
- Readiness to travel (Germany).
- At least 5 years experience in design of analog and digital electronic and in microcontroller programming
- Hands on experience on some common MCU programming (8051, AVR, PIC etc.) in C and Assembler and the corresponding development tools
- Knowledge of design techniques for motor control and temperature control are necessary
- Required experience on circuit / PCB design using Protel (99, DXP or Altium Designer)
- Knowledge of safety standards (UL, EN) is a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CET 6 certificate)
