Main Responsibilities:

·        A Senior Steam/Gas Turbine Engineer in a particular discipline is an engineer with more than five years of gas/steam turbine engineering relevant experiences following qualification and initial training, capable of working with limited supervision and direction. 

·        Understand and work according to the strategy of the Power Business Unit management.

·        Utilize MaisonWorleyParsons systems including, but not limited to, EMS and WPMP.

·        Maintain and promote the harmonious relations with the client and at all levels of the project.

·        Help recruit high quality people into MaisonWorleyParsons.

·        Periodic travel to jobsite and/or to vender’s shops for meeting.

·        Support proposals.

·        Comply with and contribute to the corporate HSE initiatives.

Qualifications

·        University Engineering Degree, Diploma or other equivalent qualifications majoring in the discipline, preferably in thermo-engineering/Aerospace engineering.

·        5+ years experience in similar position in Electrical Power Design Institute, Power utilities, turbine manufacturers, or related project management consulting industries.

·        Familiarity with GB, ASME and other industry standard software packages.

·        Be able to execute and coordinate all engineering, designing and drafting activities for projects independently

·        Good interpersonal skill; able to work under pressure

·        Fluency in English speaking and writing.

·        Effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

·        Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, willing to share expertise with others.

Broad and deep relationship within the China power industry will be a big plus, such as the knowledge and relationship with the Power Generation Companies, the Designing Institutes, the major Power Manufacturers,  etc.
