Position can be based either in: Shanghai, Beijing
Lead customer consulting engagements in technical qualification, solution development and delivery/implementation of advanced verification solutions utilizing Cadence’s Incisive Verification product portfolio. The engineer should be able to act as a strong team member and contributor, leading team projects and initiatives. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies.
Specific duties include:
–Assessing Customer’s verification requirements
–Operating in a lead role regarding architecting and implementation of customer’s verification environment/solution.
–Adapting Cadence’s Incisive Plan to Closure Methodology (IPCM) to customer’s needs.
–Supporting customer design and verification teams using System Verilog, System C and/or e (Specman) with Cadence simulation products
–Supporting customer design and verification teams in development and use of Verification Components (eVC, UVC)
–Supporting customer design and verification teams utilizing Palladium or Xtreme emulation /acceleration products
–Supporting customer design and verification teams with assertion based verification and formal analysis methods
–May coordinate/lead others within the scope of a defined project
Essential Qualifications:
Must have BS degree with 8+ years of applicable experience, MS degree with 7+ years of applicable experience in electrical engineering, microelectronics, comparable engineering science or solid state physics. Essential that the individual demonstrates strong communication, verbal and written. Requires good communication skills in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
A minimum of seven years relevant experience in industry.
- Will have demonstrated hands-on experience and expertise with Cadence verification design tools or equivalent tools, flows and methodologies required to execute a verification project.
- Will have demonstrated successful completion of 10+ verification projects as an individual contributor
- Will have ARM based SoC designs at system project verification experience
- Is able to work on-site at customer premises, travel up to 30%, and put in long hours when required to meet customer deadlines.
