* Design,  develop,  validate,  and  maintenance  of  world-class  software  for  embedded  appliance  controls. 
*  Work  with  electronics  hardware  and  systems  personnel  to  determine  and  clarify  project  specifications. 
*  Develop  software  test  plans  to  ensure  software  quality  and  completeness  to  specifications.
* Develop  software  specifications  and  architectures  for  individual  programs.
*  Develop  schedule,  track  progress  and  make  task  adjustments  as  necessary  to  maintain  schedule  commitment  on  multiple  programs. 
*  Schedule  and  hold  code  reviews  to  ensure  that  standards  are  being  met. 
*  Participate  in  process  tollgate  reviews  by  creating  and  presenting  software  design  and  reliability  information. 
*  Identify  and  implement  new  software  tools  and  technologies  that  will  enhance  the  development  process  and  assist  in  implementing  the  software  roadmap.
*  Work  with  a  global  team  of  software  engineers  to  implement  software,  track  schedule  progress,  and  ensure  software  reliability  by  following  the  software  development  process.

 

 

 

*  BS  Engineering, electronic or  equivalent. 
*  Minimum  5  Years  in  embedded  firmware  development  with  focus  in  microprocessor  based  embedded  real-time  controls  using  C. 
*  Minimum  3  years  experience  in  full  product  life  cycle  (design  to  production)  development  of  high  volume  products. 
*  Demonstrated  ability  to  energize  and  lead  teams. 
*  Demonstrated  initiative,  drive,  leadership,  communication  and  interpersonal  skills. 
*  Highly  motivated  with  ability  to  manage  multiple  priorities. 
*  Minimal  internal  travel  may  be  required
*  Fluent English on both spoken and write

 

*  MS  in  Engineering. 
*  Experience  using  emulators,  simulators  and  software  analysis  tools  such  as  PCLint  and  Parasoft.
*  Experienced  developing  embedded  applications  using  the  Quantum  Framework. 
*  Experience  using  serial  interface  buses  to  connect  satellite  microcontrollers  e.g.  LIN  Bus.
*  Greenbelt    (Quality)  certified.
*  Experience  with  any  or  all  of  the  following  microcontrollers: Renesas  H8  -  Tiny  Family,  Motorola,  Microchip  Pic16  -  Pic18 Arm  Core  Processors  specifically  Sharp  LH79525.
