Job Duties:

Work with Hardware Design Team to:

• Create/Maintain BOMs from Schematic files and coordinate implementation of ECOs
• Drive Cost Reduction Activities (Component Engineering) (sourcing alternates)
• Drive Quality Improvement Initiatives (Quality Engineering)

Job Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in an electronic design or electronics manufacturing environment (new grads with relevant co-op experience may be adequate)
• Must have a four year engineering degree
• Must be self-motivated and highly capable of managing several projects at one time
• Must have experience in spreadsheet development using MS Excel
• Must have excellent technical writing skills
• Must have strong decision making and creative problem solving skills
• Understanding of basic circuit board manufacturing and electrical design
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and works effectively as part of a team
• Must have experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Experience in an electronics-manufacturing environment performing process
• Experience in electronic design, including research, specification, design, integration, debug and documentation
• Experience with sourcing and cost reductions of electrical components
