Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years applicable experience on ETCH product, including Service and Customer support
- Knowledge in Microwave Strip, Plasma and Match, Metal / Poly / Oxide / Dielectric Etching is advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing professional and technical hardware support.
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks with the responsibility of instituting and participating in corrective actions to resolve system Escalations.
- Coordinates troubleshooting activity with Field Operations, Product Group and Engineering to resolve customer issues.
- Provides technical expertise and assistance to enable them to resolve escalated tool down issues.
- Acts as the focal point for Regional communication and dissemination of product information for best known practices.
- Provides transfer of technical knowledge to Field Operations through on-site training or communications via phone, fax or email. Develops troubleshooting templates for specific product issues.
- Baselines and monitors regional tool performance. Identifies specific sites and potential areas for improvement. Works with Field Operations and Marketing to develop and implement strategies for customer performance improvement programs.
- Writes Engineering Change Requests in order to resolve identified systematic product issues.
- Writes technical articles that advise, alert and direct, company and customer personnel in the application of the latest technical and engineering developments. Researches and analyses field engineering data for writing technical publications.
- May be required to assist engineering personal in the review and testing of new products. May be responsible for completing broad and complex projects and/or programs vital to the success of the company. Must apply a high degree of originality and ingenuity to find solutions for complex technical problems.
- Will be required to travel as needed to support Escalations.
