Position: Application Engineer - 1072
Director Report to: GM
Job Location: Suzhou
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design transformers and do cost calculations based on technical specifications from customers;
- Assist in making quotes to customers;
- Technical support both internally and externally;
- On receipt of order, responsible for finalizing customer’s design and BOM, support the production in optimizing the manufacturing processes;
- Supervise type test of products before the first delivery of article.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering;
- CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks;
- Electrical design capability;
- Experience in type testing of electrical products;
- At least 3 years experience in working with transformers;
- Knowledge of FEM is a plus;
- Ability to successfully communicate and/or translate technical information;
- Self-motivation, excellent communication and follow-up skills a must;
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
