Responsibilities:

- Design and development of electro motors, applied in laboratory and analysis technology devices

- Cooperate with motor suppliers

- Implementation of product developments in the areas of laboratory and analysis technologies.

- New development and construction of electro motors for laboratory and analysis technology devices, with responsibility for implementation, and attending to, until serial production.

- Research work, for instance on materials or competing products.

- Responsibility for the assembly of functional samples and prototypes and their test evaluation.

- Implementation of developments with due regard of performance specifications and requirements of duties record book. Compilation of full documentations, keeping of project files. Conduction of calculations and simulations. Preparation of bills of materials, technical drawings. Preparation of technical documentations, for example instructions for use etc.

- Consideration of in-plant processes and standards (ISO9001, Milestones).

- Work in accordance with valid norms and guidelines, for example laboratory apparatuses norm, machines guideline, EMV guideline, pressure apparatuses guideline, low-voltage guideline etc.

- Conduction of hazard and error analyses.

- Implementation of changes, as well as product management.

- Close cooperation with, and support of, specialized departments such as manufacturing, applications engineering, service, buying.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in electro engineering, electro-mechanical engineering or similar

- At least 3 years work experience

- Design experience; Knowledge of design software and tools

- Knowledge of DC motor/BLDC motor/AC motor and other motors used in laboratory apparatus and medical technology, or household appliance, or electro-mechanical instruments and meters; or mixing, heating, fluid control or similar small machines and equipment.
