Job Duties:
Project Management of Applied Solar Line installations, qualification, yield and ramp atcustomer sites.Ensure coordination of customer project related activities between all groups/programs, KPU, Account Team, AGS, CPSS, AKT, MAS, CAS, and Solar KPU, FT&P, and Operations groups. Ensure good communication on project related information to all stakeholders to meet project objectives. Align stakeholders to project deliverables and timelines. Manage project schedules and deliverables Focal point of daily customer interactions, with shared responsibility with BM group. Owner of customer action item list. Drives resolution of customer issues into organization and tracks closure. Appropriately escalates issues with customer schedule at earliest possible notice. Ensures no surprises in achieving solar line installation and factory sign off at customer site.
Develops project plan and oversees the projects from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes and resources. Responsible for managing project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software. Manages allocated resources from other organizations to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project. Leads multifunctional teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical leadership to team members to achieve project goals. Interfaces and coordinates with customers to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment. Provides engineering and business process expertise to project team and other members on various projects / issues. Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.Manages employees (direct reports or matrixed reports); contributes to effective performance management, employee development and retention. Develops presentations to support customer meetings, update management and support IBPRs and other executive reviews.
Requirements:
Strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, global business perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills, and quality. Demonstrated ability in Human Resources Management and Leadership. Requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint and knowledge of Oracle BOM, Oracle NSR, Oracle ECO, FRACAS and PST.
Job Specific Knowledge and Experience
-B.S. level degree or equivalent in a related engineering discipline, or related technical discipline.
-8+ years directly related experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, including 4+ years in a related management/leadership role.
-Must be available for 20% travel to the USA.
