Primary Job Function
Design and sets up the automatic test system including coding the test program for the RF instrument product line, provides the test methodology for specified RF product, or RF circuit board, to ensure the high output of product line and high quality of product.
Be the consultant for the RF test solutions

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
1) New Product Generation and introduction: Participates on the Product Development team with the NPI engineer to understand the design of RF instrument, design the test solution for product to ensure the product meet all specification.

2) Product Support: Works with production department to set up and maintain production line and manufacturing processes for new products and solves any technical issue. Design the automatic test system for the product line which supports the SQC, problem solving. Evaluates, enhances and maintains existing products and processes and to build models of components, assemblies, and products to verify design and associated manufacturing processes in specific areas of responsibility. Works with Materials department on local Sourcing and part qualification.

3) Manufacturing Improvement: Uses SQC concepts to design experiments to improve productivity of existing processes, tooling, to improve product yield, reliability and quality and  work with product engineer to uses value engineering to minimize part-function cost. Advise on re-designs product options, components manufacturing equipment, test software, tooling and processes in specific areas of responsibility

4) Problem Solving: Work with product engineer to applies scientific principles to identify root cause(s) of manufacturing problems, defines and establishes process controls to implement permanent solutions in specific areas of responsibility.

Qualification

Must

1) Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering,
2) Be familiar with Agilent RF instruments: spectrum analyzer, signal source, network analyzer, oscilloscope etc
3) Good communication skill
4) deep knowledge of programming C,VEE or CVI
5) knowledge of Remote control including GPIB
