Job Duties:
1.Responsible for making and meeting all project commitments and may provide information for Master Production Schedule. Ensures all receivables and deliverables are completed on time.
2. Analyzes and manages project milestones; communicates schedule impacts to cross functional project team and escalates as necessary to maintain project plan integrity. Performs Oracle or other software / system transactions as required to monitor project progress versus milestones.
3.Acts as a single point of contact for problem resolution and nonconformance root cause analysis for common issues across the business group.
4.Owns and maintains the configuration worksheet for assigned projects. Coordinates change requests, leads configuration review meetings and verifies sales order to configuration worksheet match.
5.Leads or participates in customer source inspections and ensures products are shipped according to customer’s specifications and quality standards.
6.May manage new product non-system or system orders from time order is submitted to operations through shipment. May coordinate with marketing, operations, engineering, logistics, materials, software and production to ensure timely design and materials delivery in support of new product shipments across the business group.
7.Calculates and monitors key process indicators and works with functional managers to develop long-term action plans that address operational issues. Owns, generates and verifies key performance metrics. May represent business group on OPPC related division task force teams.
8.Coordinates resolution of quality assurance issues. Monitors and reports on safety issues or concerns related to project.
9.Develops and maintains new business processes; ensures current practices are documented. Mentors and trains lower level project managers. Identifies training needs, updates curriculums, and develops training programs.
10.Leads cross-functional teams; prepares agendas, communicates milestones and tracks issue resolution. Represents manufacturing operations on transition teams.
Requirements:
BS level degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical discipline or BA in Business
10+ years directly related experience, to include previous project management experience.
Requires ability to negotiate contracts with service providers to support a variety of projects. Demonstrate ability to mange outside service providers. Requires strong skills in project management, change management, problem solving, communication, customer orientation, product technology, personal effectiveness, team skills and quality procedures. Demonstrate ability in Human Resources management and leadership. Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, Oracle, FRACAS and/or Product Specification Tool.
