Responsibilities / Duties

- Successful configuration/parametrization and testing on customer projects in Power Automation systems business (Protection / Substation Control)

- TS support where necessary during the bidding phase

- Help design centre to clarify the technical issues on design

- Help site service people in case problems happen on site

- Occasionally conduct some site services work

- Archive necessary information on documents like NCR, checklists, etc. for the projects in time.

- Other necessary tasks additionally assigned

Education

 

- University degree in Power System / Power Automation or equivalent

 

Languages

 

- Chinese – fluent in spoken and written

- English – advanced level in spoken and written

 

Experience

 

- 4 years experience in Power Automation (Protection / Substation Control)

- 2 years in configuration/parametrization and testing of customer projects

- Working experience in international company preferred

 

Skills / Knowledge

 

- Detailed knowledge of the application of Substation Automation and Numerical Protection Devices, preferably of Siemens Devices

- In depth knowledge of protection and substation control system on all levels of high voltage transmission and distribution

- Knowledge of Windows OS and other Office Softwares

- Background knowledge of high voltage and medium voltage switchgear, as well as industrial power systems is advantageous

- Understanding of Power Automation for high voltage substations in power utilities and industry

- Knowledge of SIMATIC WinCC is preferred

- Know how on protocols such as DNP, CDT, IEC 101, IEC 103, IEC104, Profibus DP, Profibus FMS is preferred

- Process and quality oriented
