Job Description
- Manages IT application support including ERP (Oracle/SAP) project deployment, post implementation support and IT Infrastructure management. The IT projects and services should be aligned to the business needs in a cost effective manner.
- Builds and maintains strategic relationships with internal and external customers including IT partners, senior leaders and suppliers. This includes managing relationships with suppliers of application and infrastructure services from Company global technology teams such as GTS (Global Technology Services), Company Shared Applications, Company Life Safety IT team, and the applications COE (Center of Expertise) if applicable.
- Improves the Customer satisfaction and delivery of all IT services for Company Xi’an. This role will be the 1st point of contact for the functional departments on all IT requests and needs. This role will coordinate between the local business needs and the different IT teams within the company organization.
- Responsible for the evaluation of effective and efficient IT systems and day-to-day operations.
- Directs the planning and assignment of activities of personnel and suppliers involved in one or more phases of system/ application development life cycles.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 5 or more years of technical and business experience. At least 3 years ERP (Oracle is preferred) implementation or support experience. Possess an organization wide understanding of business functions and corresponding technical solutions that address those needs.
- Requires leadership experience in managing moderate cross-functional teams and the flexibility to build relationships with people at a variety of levels internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, project manage and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.
- Good communication and project management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
