MAJOR RESPONSIBILTIY:
Responsible for completion of designing cost-effective DAS for the purpose of enhancing RF coverage within buildings and structures in order to meet customer requirements.
DUTIES:
•Perform small coax and fiber designs using iBwave RF-vu software
•Implement specific customer requirements for project.
•Communicate with lead design personal and PW design manager for the purpose of improving the design processes.
•Assist in system design of complex wireless systems.
•Update Local Rf-View database with new database information as needed.
•Maintain the correct templates for each quirky market area.
•Maintain a professional, courteous and responsive attitude to customers and fellow employees at all times
•Other tasks as the PW Manager, General Manager or Supervisor may assign.
•Perform Project Design Reviews of there own and others using the Designer Check list.
•Study CSI and Non-CSI products to be able to choose the best product based on price, performance and the market area for each design.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
•The ability to read and understand written English.
•Ability to read and interpret facility and architectural drawings.
•Technical knowledge of electronics and general knowledge of Radio Frequency technology.
•Fiber Optic technology desirable
•Ability to use CAD software
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
•High attention to detail
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrated teamwork skills
EDUCATION:
•Minimum level: Bachelor Degree.
•0 - 1 year of experience in related vocation or technical fields
