LOCATION:     

Gerber Scientific (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.  (上 海 漕 河 涇 區)

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Ensure products produced from China based contract manufacturers for company
  fully meet company's expectations for quality, reliability, delivery

·         Ensure quality procedures and guidelines established at contract manufacturers are
  consistent with company's requirement and effective for an ongoing win-win company's
  business relationship

·         Provide effective local quality support to company's products being built in China based
  facilities

·         Quality data visibility & reporting meets company's requirements & provides sufficient
  ease of access for efficient company use/operation

·         Set a strong working relationship up with the contract manufacturers

 

Main Responsibilities:

·         Support external assembly and quality team to complete product assembly and
  inspection

·         Be fitter trouble shooting to electronic issues and problems during the production

·         Weekly and monthly report to Supply Chain director about electronic related quality
  issues and corrective actions

·         Have the ability to map the process based on current practice and optimize them

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education & Experience

·         Bachelor degree or above in Technology background,

·         5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, engineering or quality department

·         Have the experience in PCBA board production and rework, understanding PLC

·         Take action on data analysis instead of assumptions

·         Sound experience and knowledge of overall production process

·         Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001

·         Good command of written and spoken English

·         Good communicator who listens well and makes decisions after confirming facts

  finish goods shipping out, and take action with cost saving and feasibility study

·         Investigate quality problems by on site checking, data analysis
