SUMMARY OF JOB:
Member of a small team dedicated to improving the overall quality of HDS( Home and Distributed System) business line product. Such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Surge/AV and mobil accessory.

- Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues that negatively affect the quality, performance and reliability of Uninterruptible Power Supplies , Surge/AV and Mobil accessory product in both the field and the manufacturing environment from an electrical standpoint.
- Responsible to support the field and manufacturing through corrective action work to improve product design and/or reduce product and production costs.
- Responsibilities include sustaining engineering, customer service, tech support, product repair, interfacing with test engineering plus assisting in other operational areas as needed.
- Strong customer communication skills required.
- Strong desire to be cross trained.
- Success driven, self motivating individual required. Job will require initiative to solve different and unique Problems.
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
· BSEE and 2 years experience in design and support of power electronics or related fields are required. Manufacturing experience and knowledge of electrical components are a plus.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:
·Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access a plus.
·The position also requires excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills as well as effective written and verbal communications skills.
·QCC activity and Seven Steps skill
·Additionally, there will be domestic and international travel as required.
