Responsibilities:

Program management responsibilities:
· Setting up the team to meet the program needs, identifying gaps and staffing the teams
· Ensuring smooth execution of all programs carried out of the development centre
· Establishing processes, engineering methods, tools and technology for automotive practice
· Identification of the right tools/software and infrastructure requirement for program management
· Reporting the program status to the AVE management
· Managing the development at the development centre and interfacing with the AVE development teams across sites.
· Co-ordination with the engineering group, sales & marketing, supply chain management and infrastructure teams
· Responsible for operational efficiency (schedule, productivity, Quality)
· Issues resolutions, priority negotiations, customer satisfaction

Product engineering responsibilities:
· Modular, scalable and adoptable design engineering
· Product value engineering (alternatives, obsolescence, cost etc.,)
· Infrastructure for product testing
· Technology induction

Resource responsibilities:
· Developing core competency in the product, services group (program management, product engineering, product management etc.,)
· Developing focused and functional knowledge expertise
· Optimum utilization of resources

Product support and maintenance responsibilities:
· Product customization, product enhancement, product correction

Infrastructure responsibilities:
· Identification of infrastructure requirements for maintenance and support of products

Requirements:
· Have a proven track record demonstrating strong Program Management, Project Management, Risk evaluation and Decision making capabilities.
· Have had an experience in product development from initiation phase to taking the product to mass production.
· Understand the complete life cycle of a product development focusing on the checkpoints at every stage of development.
· With a background of working in automotive industry will be preferable else it can be complemented with a technical lead with strong automobile background.
· Have experience in at least one complete product design for the automotive industry in a technical lead position
· Have experience of in-vehicle testing of the product.
· Be conversant with standards prevalent in the automotive sector
· Have used CANoe/CANalyser, dSpace, MATLAB/modeling tools, diagnostic testers, calibration tools
· Have good command in both written and spoken English
