Module -AQL Manager

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

 

·        Direct and indirect supervision of Micron Xi’an QA employees including team development and performance management

·        Ongoing management of QA resources and departmental budgeting (personnel, equipment, space, etc.)

·        Supervision of electrical test functions and analysis in QA including system level test in end customer platforms (motherboards, laptops, servers)

·        Interaction with local manufacturing, engineering and planning groups regarding product requirements, movement and priorities in QA

·        Local QRA contact to address customer concerns, audits, questionnaires, etc.

·        Local QRA contact for Micron Xi’an manufacturing issues regarding product risk assessments, problem containment, product disposition, yield concerns, process changes/improvements, and RMA investigations

·        Participate in weekly or other conference calls as needed with the Micron Corporate Module Group and other QRA groups in Micron

·        Quality Systems / ISO / Internal Audits

·        Establish and participate in continuous improvement plans

 

Qualifications:

 

·        The ideal candidate will be an individual with knowledge and experience in SMT manufacturing processes, quality/reliability principles and applications, and customer relations/support. However, lack of experience in any of these areas will not preclude an individual from being considered

·        Engineering Degree

·        Must have good written and verbal communication skills to interact with the various internal and external customers

·        Adaptable to changing priorities

·        Sufficient technical aptitude to supervise the electrical test functions and analysis in QA including system level test in end customer platforms (motherboards, laptops, servers)

·        Able to make effective personnel decisions (hiring/firing, disciplinary, etc.)

·        Ability to gather, interpret and present data effectively

·        Fluent in Mandarin and English

·        Customer relations experience

·        Supervisory/Management experience

·        Module manufacturing knowledge

-       Problem containment and product disposition

-       Industry standards and workmanship criteria

-       Production and defect tracking systems and databases

-       Module product configurations

-Process equipment/flow
