Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a high energy, professional Field Applications Engineer to be located in Shanghai, China.  This individual must have the ability to do business at the highest professional level within China and South East Asia. This individual must also be fluent in English and Mandarin.

REQUIREMENTS:

- University Graduate in Electronic Engineering, MBA would be preferrable

- 5 to 8 years technical support experience in DRAM / Flash Memory / Storage HDD products

- Familiar with ASIC or Programmable logic products

- Previous Pre-sales support experience in Analog industry would be an advantage 

- Fluent in speaking English and Mandarin

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) will provide detailed technical design assistance to the customer base while acting as a visionary for the company product and technology directions/roadmaps.

- The FAE will assist our sales teams win new design opportunities by engaging with and supporting the Regional Sales Manager and manufacturers reps in the territory.

- The FAE should be able to articulate the company product line and services to technical and non-technical audiences in a one-on-one or one-on-many situation.

- The FAE will travel to provide technical sales support; thoroughly understand customer’s system requirements; and to strengthen the company relationships within the customer base.

- FAE will interface with the company engineering and marketing to provide input and suggestions for new products, based on customer needs and competitive information.

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of semiconductor memory (DRAM & Flash), memory aftermarket, and storage products.

- Self-motivated, self assured person with aptitude to interface with personnel from the highest to the lowest levels of customer engineering organizations.

- Ability to travel as required supporting design-in activity and customer technical issues.

- Proven ability to assist in generating new sales/customers, develop strategic partnerships and provide growth in the organization.

- Excellent understanding of the sales process with substantive depth to develop solutions to complex engineering-related issues.

- Develop strong business relationships with key decision makers within the company customer base and the memory industry.

- Understand OEM memory market customers.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team building skills, plus strong work and business ethics.
