DESCRIPTION  OF  DUTIES  (TO  INDICATE   ALL  TASKS  PERFORMED)

l       Timely identify customer’s new projects

l       Pre-Sales work:

1.       Identify customer’s needs and win with right strategy and product

2.       Present Spansion’s products to customers, discuss with customers to clearly understand their needs

3.       Design in Spansion’s most suitable products to customers’ projects

4.       Closely follow customers’ projects to ensure design-win

5.       Convince and support customers for flash memory product migration

6.       Be the technical consultant for Spansion sales and customers

7.       Continuously provide Spansion new products information to customers

8.       Ability to solve field application technical issues to gain market share

l       Post-Sales work:

1.       Work closely with customers and Spansion engineering team for troubleshooting technical issues

2.       Coordinate Spansion quality team and customers to solve quality issues

3.       Maintain close relationship with customers, especially the R&D department

l       Conduct technical seminars for customers and distributors FAEs for product updates and exchange of ideas

l       Manage distributor FAEs to maximize design-win share

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES            

l         Desire to win; work with passion.

l         Minimum of 3 years R&D experiences in related fields eg) STB software debugging, Low-level drivers design.

l         Hardware analysis and software debugging ability is required.

l         Software design experience on DVB, DVD platforms is appreciated.

l         Experienced knowledge in Flash memory industry is a plus

l         Fluent in communicating both in spoken & written English

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in electronics or equivalent combination of experience and training.  Demonstrated understanding in system/functions design or advanced related course work along with Flash memory architecture, debugging, system configuration.  Possesses appropriate customer service skills.  Team player and contributor, reliable and dependable. Excellent listening skills, works well under pressure, strong learning initiative, multi-tasking, handling conflict situations with customers, genuine desire to assist customers, logical thinking, even temperament, quick learner.
