PURPOSE:

This position will involve designing, building, qualifying and supporting test equipment hardware and software for the verification of schneider electric electronic products.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for electronic product functional test in industrialization team on new product development project.

- Define product test strategy.

- Provide DFT (Design for test) requirements to R&D according to test strategy and other targets.

- Make test coverage analysis, identify and follow up potential risks and issues.

- Propose product architecture according to manufacturability and testability.

- Estimate test equipment investment budget.

- Define test equipment specification and qualification plan

- Select / validate the appropriate subcontractor for equipment making (with Purchasing)

- Manage subcontractor during test equipment development phase in vendor side.

- Follow up and report the schedule/progress/risk/issue of the equipment making.

- Qualify equipment before ship to Schneider plant or to other contract manufacturer.

- Final qualify test equipment with whole production system and transfer the responsibility of the equipment to manufacturing team.

- Support test equipment job in transfer and localization projects.

- Provide related training to other employee.



REQUIREMENT:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree of Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field is required

- Fluent oral English, be good at English writing.

- Strong individual capability: leadership, communication, report writing skill, logical thinking, big picture thinking, technical and business judgments, self-awareness, achieve result, issue analysis, very good professional behavior and attitude.

- At least 8 years experience and at least 5 years relevant professional experience in electronic industry

- Multi-national company experience is preferred.

- Have automation and electric product knowledge and experience, have electronic product R&D experience is preferred.

- Solid background in electrical/electronic test systems design diagnose and qualify, Windows computing, and power systems analysis.

- Experience with serial communications and Ethernet protocols is preferred.

- Have strong knowledge of test equipment component, solution and software, such as PLC, industrial PC, HMI, vision inspection (camera), other instruments, Lab-view, ATEasy, Visual Basic, Visual CC++, Java or other similar programming languages

- Know electronic FCT equipment market.
