Responsibilities:
Overall Function:
Develop tests to probe the electrical/electronic performance of manufactured parts in a laboratory environment. Document procedures & provide training to technicians. Participate in improvement actions on product performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Develop Methodologies for measurement of electrical/electronic parameters of miniature digital camera for R&D laboratories.
2.Work on continuous improvement in existing test methods.
3.Responsible for documentation of test methods & work-instructions for technicians.
4.Create & negotiate test specifications.
5.Interact with design team for schematics and electrical drawings.
6.Participate in product performance issue with other engineering teams.
7.Troubleshoot test & equipment related problems.
8.Participate in continuous improvement activities for laboratory development.
9.Ensure Best Practices in place at all time lab operations.
10.Continuously improve existing jigs, fixtures and set-ups for measurements.
Authority:
1.Authorized to assign tasks to lab technicians & assistants on routine basis.
2.Authorized to propose overtime for subordinates subjected to management approval.
3.Authorized to raise purchase requests for laboratory tools subjected to management approval.
Requirements:
1.Minimum Bachelors or advanced degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
2.Preferably 3 years or more experience in hands on design and layout of analogue and digital circuits & schematics.
3.Substantial experience with design tools: OrCad, Allegro is a plus.
4.Familiarity with various electrical & electronic parameters & terminologies.
5.Experience with electrical design of electronics packages.
6.Experience with CMOS image sensors and camera products a plus.
7.Knowledge of Microcontroller or Microprocessor architecture and registry.
8.Hands-on with measurement tools like oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.
