Responsibilities:
.Provide the NPI engineering organization and program CFTs critical information concerning component and materials technology changes (components/materials and fabrication technologies becoming obsolete, as well as viable new technologies that are emerging), also the opportunity for cost reduction.
.Provide the NPI engineering organization and program CFTs with critical information concerning component manufacturers' quality, technical capabilities, as well as RoHs and regulatory agency compliance (Working in conjunction with Flex Materials and Quality organizations.)
.Teamwork with Flex Materials and Program organization to drive cost reduction
.Support Flex Materials organization in identifying Preferred Component Suppliers and emerging technology leaders.
.Identify high risk components which require qualification testing arrangement and consign to third party (Test/Measurement Lab.)
.Investigate shortages, and determine alternate solutions prior to forwarding to Customer’s Component Engineering organization for approval.
.Provide Data Sheets, test results (when requested), and support data concerning LTB, PCN, MSA, Aged Component Request, MPN delta for Customer’s CE
