Job Scope:

 

Train to execute Directional Drilling field services role in the drilling and logging of oil or gas wells.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:

a)        Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.

b)        Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.

c)         Actively promote positive safety culture.

 

2.Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9001 (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:

a)        Compliance to work instructions.

b)        Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.

c)         Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.

 

3.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a)        Train to operate and maintain motors and down hole tools at rig site

b)        Train to interpret down hole data and liaise with LWD/MWD Engineers, company men and geologists.

c)         Train to generate daily and Final Well reports on service performance.

d)        Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

e)        Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

4.Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements:

 

1.Thorough knowledge of Drilling Systems products and services .

2.Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

3.Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.

4.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences, able to work in teams effectively,    excellent written and spoken communication skills, excellent computer skills.

5.Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience is required.

6.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences.

7.Ability to motivate and develop staff.

8.Willingness to learn new skills.
